With more than 30 years of professional experience, Cacau brings a distinguished background in editorial photography, having photographed for Brazil’s leading magazines and serving as the personal photographer of Ivete Sangalo, Brazil’s most iconic and beloved singer, for 17 years.

Founded in Maui, Maui Forever Photography represents the continuation of a life dedicated to capturing authentic moments with intention and sensitivity.

Cacau Mangabeira is a Brazilian photographer now based in Maui since April 2025, after relocating to the island with his family and fulfilling a lifelong dream of living in Hawaii. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter — one shaped by the same values that have guided his work for decades.
